Maryann E. Foley

Firm principal Maryann E. Foley devotes her legal practice to representing clients throughout Alaska in a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, and adoption, among other legal issues concerning family relationships.

After completing her undergraduate and legal education in New York State, Ms. Foley was admitted to the Alaska State Bar in 1980. In 1985, she established her own practice in Anchorage, focusing exclusively on family law. Her dedication to her field is demonstrated by extensive involvement with the American Bar Association's Family Law Section, serving on various committees and as Secretary and Vice Chair over the course of her legal career. In August 2011, she becomes Chair-elect. Ms. Foley is also a member of the Alaska Pro Bono Program, offering free legal services to those in need, and she is involved in numerous nonprofit and community organizations, including Optimist International of Anchorage.
